If you cannot find the information you are looking for, you can contact us by email at flyitaly@gmail.com.[/nectar_responsive_text][toggles style=”minimal_shadow” accordion=”true” accordion_starting_functionality=”closed” border_radius=”10px”][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Is it safe to fly in a hot air balloon?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Yes, very much so. Hot air ballooning is one of the safest forms of tourist air travel. Our pilots are fully qualified and highly experienced, and all flights are conducted in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority regulations.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”When do we fly?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]We operate flights all year round, at sunrise. This time of day is ideal as it avoids the heat of the day and ensures more stable atmospheric conditions, perfect for a smooth and safe flight.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Where will we go?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]The route is not completely predefined: we start with a weather forecast that guides us, but the flight direction is determined only after take-off. Every flight is a unique adventure, as the wind carries us along ever-changing paths.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”How long does the flight last?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]The actual flight time is about one hour, but the duration may vary depending on weather conditions to ensure safety.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”How engaging is the experience?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Very much so. We invite you to take an active part from the very beginning: during the balloon inflation you can help out, watch how the balloon is prepared, and gain a better understanding of how the aircraft works.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Is it cold during the flight?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Not necessarily. The periodic blasts from the burner heat the air inside the balloon, so it is often warmer in flight than on the ground, especially during the colder seasons.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”How long does the entire experience last?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Allow between 3 and 3.5 hours, including the briefing, inflation, flight, landing, and transport back to the starting point.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”What will I see during the flight?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Spectacular 360° views: you will fly over forests, hills, vineyards, and fields, and—if conditions allow—even get close to the cloud line. If we climb high enough, the view can be truly breathtaking.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”How high do we fly?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]We generally fly at around 300–400 meters, high enough to fully appreciate the landscape in winter, when the hills are “frosted”and to enjoy breathtaking views of the valleys below.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”I’m afraid of heights. Can I still fly?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Yes — many people with a fear of heights fly with us. Take-off is gradual, and those who are afraid often realize only after a while that they are already high up, without any sense of vertigo. Many of them experience a great sense of achievement.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”How many people can fit in the basket?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]We have balloons of various sizes: generally, our baskets accommodate from 4 to 10 passengers, depending on the model.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Do you feel the wind while in flight?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Since the balloon moves with the wind, you won’t feel much airflow. The only time you might notice a breeze is during changes in altitude or direction.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”What happens in case of bad weather?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]If weather conditions are not favorable, we postpone the flight. Bring your camera, GoPro, or smartphone with you: the views from the basket are incredible. And if you share on Instagram, you can use the hashtag #balloonintuscany.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”What should I wear for the flight?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]We recommend layered clothing (to adapt to temperature changes), long trousers, and closed shoes without heels. Sunglasses and a hat are also useful, especially if you are tall.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”h3″ heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Are there group discounts?”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Possibly, yes.
